After their arrival in Salzgitter participants will be taken to their accomodation where they will have time to unpack and relax. After an evening meal there will be a musical evening in a youth centre where everybody will have a chance to get to know one another.

08:00             Breakfast followed by a visit to the Salzgitter AG steel works and a tour of Salzgitter.

13:30             Lunch.

15:00             Workshop. The theme is crime in the youths home countries.

18:00             Welcome speech by the mayor of Salzgitter Mr Frank Klingebiel in the youth club Forellenhof followed by a concert given by visiting bands from 2 of Salzgitters partner towns. During a  break the evening meal will be served. Afterwards the concert continues.

07:30             Breakfast.

11:30             Canoe tour along the rivers of the northern German town of Celle with a break during the day for a picknick.

17:00             Return to Salzgitter.

19:00             Everybody is invited to an open air concert in the grounds of our musium in Salzgitter where they will see not only German bands but also bands. singers and dancers from their home countries live on stage.                             .

08:30             Breakfast.

10:00             Visit to a lake in Salzgitter for sport activities (swimming, waterboarding, sailing etc.) or anybody who wants can spend the day with our local gliding club with flights in gliders and aeroplanes over Salzgitter.

14:00             Lunch.

19:00             Grill party at the airfield with the gliding club youth members.

10:30              Workshop and discussions, run by youth workers from the drug abuse centre.

13:00              Lunch.

14:00              Workshop. THe theme is crime.

19:00              Evening meal.

09:00              Workshop and lecture from officers of the Salzgitter police department.

13:30              Lunch.

15:00              Workshop with youth workers from the justice department.

19:00              Evening meal.

20:00              Disco Bowling at our local bowling club with fun and games moderated by an English speaking DJ.

09:00              Lecture from Dr. Coester to the topic racism.

15:30              Workshop with the theme of racism.

09:00              Visit to the concentration camp at Salzgitter Drütte.

13:00              Lunch.

14:30              Workshop held by the charity organisation „Arbeitskreis Stadtgeschichte“ to the theme racism.

11:00             “X-Berg-Tage“ Project run by social and youth workers from Berlins City Council with the themes crime, racism, aggression, drug abuse and migration.
